[RC] sigh... beet pulp - Jonni Jewell

She doesn't believe a word of SueG's web site, the fact that I've put
more than 1000 competitive miles on
my horse with no metabolic pulls doesn't mean anything to her....<<<

Ask the woman what vet school she went to, what case study she has done, and
to give you some hard core medical facts, NOT hearsay about her feelings
that beet pulp is so bad for them. Then, when she can not produce this
information, thank her for her time, tell the others reading the general
horse list to make up their own minds, and do what they feel is best. If
they don't want to feed it, then it leaves more in the stores for those of
us who have found it very beneficial.

The whole ride experience can be very hard, and at times you question why
you put yourself through such abuse. But then you remember all those
moments when you pop up over a hill and are suddenly surrounded by the most
stunning views. It's just you and your horse and for a moment time stops
and you can hear the angels sing. Therein lies the addiction, at least for
me.
