Your additions are definitely true. I bought my Shepherd
from a breeder who sends his bitches to Germany to be bred, and she's one
of the best dogs I've ever owned. The breeder really cares about the
breed, not just his own dogs or his profit.
I'd also like to say that I'm a big fan of mutts, and that I'd
as soon have a mutt as a purebred dog any day, as long as they fit into the
"program" at my house. The dog to avoid is the "poor quality" purebred
dog. Of course there are exceptions to even that...my pug is a classified
ad dog, and I wouldn't trade her for anything. :-)
