Re: [RC] Horse cookies - Jim Holland

Carol...

The best treat I have found to carry on a ride is "Apple Wafers" by
Manna Pro. You can buy them at almost any feed store. They are also
nutritionally good for the horse.

Never met a horse that didn't like them. They are "hard"....about the
consistency of a milk bone dog biscuit. As long as you don't get them
wet, they last forever. (They taste pretty "flat" to me, but my guys
think they are to die for) $12.00 for a 25 pound bag here in Georgia.

Jim, Sun of Dimanche+, and Mahada Magic

Does anyone have a good recipe for horse cookies, something you can
take on a ride with you and not crumble in the saddle pack?
Thanks, Carol
