Re: [RC] girth for new saddle - heidi

Can someone recommend a girth for my new wintec saddle? I've never used
neoprene, but I was advised I should find something that has a ring in
teh middle and I wasn't sure that any english girths did. I have an
english breast collar, but wondered if that might make a pressure point
on a long ride since it goes under the girth.

We sure like our Toklat woolback girths. You can get them with a ring in
the middle (or maybe it is standard on all of them)--ours have them but we
never use them, as we don't even own breast collars. (Much prefer having
horses with good "saddle backs" so that the saddles stay put.)

Having had two different horses so far that had fairly intense allergies
to neoprene, I just don't like to use it at all.
