Mike Riter will give a short (one
hour) presentation at the Maryland Horse World Expo on Sunday, January
23rd. The Expo runs Thursday through Sunday at the State Fairgrounds in
Timonium.

learned about the differences in construction techniques depending on who the
trail users will be- though the emphasis in the course was on shared-use
trails, and most of the attendees when I went, were equestrians??the Riters
are mountain bikers, but design trails across the US for all different user
groups, and are not anti-horse??.I highly recommend one of these clinics-
don?t know where you live, but you may want to check with your state?s AERC
trail advocate about whether one of these clinics will be presented in your
