[RC] Update on appy mare hooves - Sheryl OKnock on wood, she is riding sound now. She got better before I had shoes put on, but I went ahead and had her shod anyway. I am hoping this solves the problem so we can slowly get her back in condition for trail riding. Next time I decide to try to let her go without shoes, I will plan ahead and get boots to protect her tender soles before they get bruised up. I had always had tough hoofed, mostly kept barefoot horses in the past so I just was not prepared for this. thanks everyone and Happy New Year! This is the most informative horse related email list I have ever come across and I really appreciate the knowledge shared here. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
