[RC] trimming for riding - Alice Yovich

I am someone who prefers to be barefoot, and I'm learning to trim myself, but I'm not opposed to shoes if they are necessary...

I ran across a distance vet not long ago who recommended that I put back shoes on my horse to help her travel straight for her stifles. She said to leave the front alone since it was "good" but that I might need to leave her back shod to keep her traveling "correctly" I thought that was an interesting approach and one I hadn't thought of. I don't know if I'll do it or not, but I'm keeping it in mind.
