No I don't dabble in this, too chicken, too many unknowns--but it sure 
sounds like what they do for allergies. I was allergic to wasps and yellow 
jackets, so for 5 years I got shots of bee venom, strting with 1-250,000  I 
believe dilution, increasing till I got a 'full dose' essentially a weekly 
sting.
  Perhaps it is based on something like that. the "like heals like" has to 
do with allergic responses-- or remember historically some people who were 
afraid of being poisioned by arsenic actually took small daily doses.....
