perspective

I've had a 4" nail in one of my mare's hooves on two
separate
occasions, once with a fistula (the pus escaping from a
"vent" further
up, near the
pastern) > and, in both cases I gave her the proscribed
remedy and was
riding
her, she in good spirits, fully recovered in 3--5 days.

Lynda & Wentworth Tellington-Jones said the gypsies left
things that punctured the horse in the horse until it had a
good covering of pus and then it would slide out without
leaving debris behind. My junior rider next door came over
and asked me to remove a nail from her horse's foot. When I
saw that huge (at least 4") nail stuck in the bulb, straight
forward I almost died, but I barely even touched it and it
just slid out slick as could be. The horse wasn't even off.
I just gave him a tetenous booster and he had absolutely no
problems. He didn't receive any medications. I told her to
soak it but don't believe she did. She had no idea how bad
it could have been.

P.S. Anybody know if that stuff that got her mare with the
tongue hanging out off the ground and eating in a few
minutes is legal in competition? I think I'd like to try
that stuff. >g<

I have no problem with people using homeopathics, but what
could be more natural than opening up an abcess to drain?
