Re: [RC] horse feet - Vallonelee

Okay, I'll bite.

I took on a 2 yr old Arab last year - just to find him another home :)  sounds familiar right ?
Anyway, my husband just loves this guy and so he stayed.

He has a moderate clubfoot and I was wondering what anyone's experience was as to how this foot might handle the rigors of training. What special considerations/measures people have had to take in owning a horse with a clubfoot that is doing endurance.  He is only coming three now and not being ridden, but time does go by quickly............

Just musing.

".......and God sought to bestow upon man a supreme mark of his blessing. God created the horse. The horse could run faster than the deer, jump higher than the goat, and endure longer than the wolf. Man, being encompassed by elements that sought to destroy him, would have been a slave, had the horse not made him king."
