Re: [RC] my mare is she just being a mare? - Harrytmdh

Thankyou everyone for your responses. Oddly enough I
get the gut feeling it is a pain issue too. I have the
vet coming tomorrow, i have noticed a fist size lump
infront of her udders and I am thinking Hernia???... I
also wonder if the new english saddle isnt pinching on
dismounts. Thats when we seem to have our biggest
battles. She was always willing and listened
attentively before. We often rode with only voice
commands. She knows her left from her right and 'WILL
YOU STAND?!" means moms about ready to get serious
over this. Howver in the past almost two months she
has pulled these stunts with both western and english
saddles...Her teeth were just floated over the summer.
and i do massage on her regularly, since i have a
Cert. in shiatsu(accupressure massage)

She is a bit spoiled, I buy her carrot cookies and she
knows What Cookie? and Dinner! mean. But other then
being a well groomed horse , who'se Mom goes over her
body every day with a fine tooth curry,I wouldnt say
she is spoiled. She never tries to 'get away ' with
anything until now.

Hopefully the vet will shed some light on this.

Thanks again for your help.Im hoping I dont have to
sell my best bud.
Paula
