[RC] Kids, ponies and distance riding - rides2far


were the kids riding much at home?  

The rode every time I did...at the most a couple of times during the week
and maybe 5 hrs. Sat.

They were doing You've got trails right outside 
your
back door, right?

Yeah, but the long ride is about an hour haul away.

 You're right, though - it's not the trail, but 
the start
and the finish where the wreck is most likely to be. .

It *is* different. Another thing you might consider is that ALL your
costs double...double the shoeing bill, double the entry fees, no more
sharing gas by hauling a friend. Also, so much for your "escape"...now
you're mom on the trail too. :-P  I have enjoyed my juniors, but there
are times when it feels *so* free to only load my own stuff and ride
alone. :-)
