[RC] Trailer brakes-disasterous - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

 The sad fact is that for many different reasons,about half the horse trailers
going down the highway have bad trailer brakes.The amperage load is fairly
high,yet the wiring is almost never properly done on the trailer,or the
truck.When one strips wire for a repair and sees green or black stuff way up in
the wire,that wire has been HOT,due to too high resistance in crummy
connections or in the wire itself (too small gauge wire). I FINALLY have good
trailer brakes on my rig,and the difference is amazing.The new single
adjustment Hoppy brand controler is very good.
