[RC] synthetic shoes/shock absorbing - rides2far

I like the idea of reduced concussion and dampened
vibration of > the synthetic shoes. Some of the shoes have builtin pads.

I did a little low tech experiment. I put a steel shoe, a synthetic shock
absorbing pad and an easyboot on a slab of concrete. Then I took a hammer
and hit each hard. When I hit the steel shoe I could feel the vibration
right up my arm. The pad wasn't much better. The easyboot made the
biggest difference by far.

Trail Blazer did an in depth article on the different brands of synthetic
shoes a couple of months ago. Maybe you can check on that.
