If you're not careful, Tom, you're going to bump this ride ahead of Tevis on my "want to do" list. I am so looking forward to doing this ride on my little CMK gelding someday... The Big Horn is one of my very favorite rides, although I haven't been able to go and ride it for a long time. The scenery is "to die for" gorgeous, and the people that put it on are terrific. I was going to go this year until I broke my ankle. But don't let Tom's comment about needing a "mountain horse" scare you off. The two times Kahlil and I rode it we traveled from Alabama to the ride (we lived at all of 600 feet altitude), and we did just fine (2nd/BC and 1st/BC). BTW, Kahlil is CMK and 14.1 hands. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
