[RC] Off billets... why not?? - Jonni Jewell

I know Stonewall has been doing this for years. He uses nylon "off side"
billets, on both sides. If you really need to ride with a tight cinch, it is
tough to get enough lift, to tighten them enough. But if you can get away
with a loser girth, yes, you can do this. Here are some photos of his
saddles, and if you look close, under the stirrup fenders, you can see, both
sides use off side billets.  Why not go buy a pre-made, nylon off side
billet at your local tack shop, and give it a try. See if it works for you.
They are not that expensive.
