I have had better luck with syringing the straight fenbenzadole, than using
paste wormers.  However, I am tall, and my daughter helps.  Our method is
to have a person on each side; she steadies head, and I poke syringe in
mouth (horse's head is already somethat high as they are apalled at the
whole
idea).  Once I empty syringe, her job is to elevate their head until their
mouth
is higher than throat so liquid goes down.  This is one process I can say in
all modesty, that we have down to a science; we are the syringing queens!

If I remember right, you are giving about 46cc....out of a 60cc syringe.

you could fill rest of syringe with pancake syrup to disguise it..

Hi all-

I just ordered (for the first time) some fenbendazole
suspension liquid (Safe-Guard) for the boys' five-day
purge. One of them is really picky about the taste of
whatever I'm squirting in his mouth. For those of you
who do the purge this way, have your horses reacted
negatively to the taste, or does it seem akin to
water? Have any of you added anything to the
Safe-Guard for taste?
