[RC] Rump rugs - Julie Fuller

Carrie,

Here is the best place I have found for all kinds of fantastic outdoor fabric. The carry tons of coated cordura in every weight imaginable, as well as coated taffeta, ripstop, pack cloth, canvas, Polar fleece, and wonderful 4 way stretch fabrics for tights. They also carry the best flannel I've ever used.

My suggestion is to order several of their swatch sets... they will give you an idea as to what you want to use. The last rump rug I made was 160 denier cordura with Polar fleece 100 liner. Easy, cheap, ,and nearly bullet proof!

I also have made wonderful Aussie style coats out of heavier cordura. My husband and I feel indestructable in them, as well as dry and warm!

I made some tights out of their windproof, waterproof, breathable 4 way stretch fabric from Malden Mills. Tights in catalogs made of this exact fabric cost upwards of $150. I make mine for $43

Have fun!

Julie
