My gelding is an X racehorse, Jolly Jake.  I got him from Pam Weidel at 
Boxwood farm in Pennington, NJ.  She breeds race horses that eventually find 
themselves as endurance horses (and has been doing it for over 20 years).  I 
agree with the other posters that the temperament is ideal for endurance, 
they are competitive and can be hot...which is fine with me!  My horse 
didn't care for racing, so he wasn't at it for long (which I am thankful 
for), he has allot of heart and stamina, and he enjoys trail riding.
Pam's horses are athletic and have done well in endurance and I highly 
recommend her Arabians to any discriminating buyer.
