[RC] [RC] Clicker training suggestions anyone? - Michelle Fink

Hi Beth,

You might try some basic despooking (stepping on a tarp, etc.), ground
driving, trailer loading. Not sure how old the foal is, but for ground
driving you could at least teach him to accept a harness & ropes all over,
and probably easily teach him to walk ahead of you. Taught my youngsters to
stand absolutely still while being harnessed (w/o being tied). Very handy
later for teaching the mount up - they really know what "stand" means & try
hard to stand perfectly still. Also taught trotting in hand (but with no
rope :-)) and a really quick stop and backup. Love seeing more people
experiment with this stuff, please let us know if you come up with something
new & fun.

Happy Trails,
Michelle
