RE: [RC] Splint bone injury - bobmorris

Title: Message
You think that 28 year old horse gives a damn about another 100 mile ride? Let him be a horse in his last years.

Subject: [RC] Splint bone injury

My 28 year old gelding has a splint bone injury.  He was conditioned every year until just a few years ago and then he would always go lame a day before the ride. I was hoping he could ride the 100 one more time.  Is there any supports that I can use?  He is too old for surgery.
