[RC] re:Quivering during shoeing - Judy Houle

It sounds to me like a response to pain and
discomfort. It is probably hard for him to maintain
this position.  He may be having pain in his knee. 
With any joint problem and for older horses its
probably a good idea to have them on a joint
supplement with Glucosomine, Yucca and MSM.  Also I've
found that horses who have a hard time maintaining the
position during shoeing benefit from massage too.
