Re: [RC] Newbie Questions - Becky Rohwer

Up here in Montana if it is warm enough I may ride a little on the weekend.  As soon as I can start to fit in a ride in late Feb or early March after work, weather permitting, I train 3 or 4 times a week like crazy and consistently.

Subject: [RC] Newbie Questions

Hi, all, I am new to ridecamp.  Just gathering info about LD riding, etc.  I have an old fat gelding who needs to getin shape (along with his old fat owner/rider).  I thought if we tried to get fit for a 15-25 mile ride by March '05, it would give us a goal to work toward.  But, now the time has changed back to EDT and it is dark by the time I get  home at 6:00 pm.  I live in N. Fla. so the weather won't hinder us too much, but am wondering how you guys who work like me, train during the winter months.

Thanks, Amy C.
