[RC] Standardbreds in Endurance - Carolyn Burgess<<<- Very easy to work with, they have been everywhere and seen My girl friends Standardbred has a complete meltdown when he sees a cow, mine couldn't care less. At Doncaster this year, the last loop of the 50 snakes in and out of fields and the woods. We were in the middle of the woods and there were about 50 cows, surrounded by trees in a fenced area. My horse just walked past the cows, not even really paying attention to them until we passed them all. He stopped, turned around and gave them a look like, "did I just see what I thought I saw?" It was very funny.
