[RC] Bitless Bridle and biothane questions - Von Simson, Cristiano

Title: Bitless Bridle and biothane questions

I’ve been using the biothane “bitless bridle” by Dr. Cook ( http://www.bitlessbridle.com/ )for the last year. My horse was really hard to hold back during the first loop. He is very competitive, and  can not see another horse in front of him without trying to overtake.

I’ve found that the bitless bridle works better than the several different bridles I’ve tried before. I am able to use the reins exactly as I did with the normal bridle, but we are communicating better.

My horse seems more comfortable without the bit in his mouth, and will resist much less to pressure on the reins and get less nervous than with the regular bridle.

He also manages to grab a bite of grass here and there while we are training.

The biothane has been holding very well, the only thing I do is to wash it now and then. It is not sticky or gummy. Still looks like new.
