In this reagion youcan get a mix. All the horses in The Ga. North area are on fescue, alot of the hay is fescue or a mix. I get a fescue/bermuda mix.The vets here only mention endophytes when a mare is pregnant (I had one) and sya to get her off it the last 3 months. But even then alot don't. Mine got some bits of it. But he sid the amount was negiligible.So many horses around here on fescue, it doesn't seem to be an issue.....
