Or the person who doesn't have any regard for the control you may or may 
not have is just as bad. My daughter and I went riding on the worst ride of 
our lives late in the summer. It was another mother and daughter. the girl 
had no control and wasn't attempting to have control. She charged past me 
and my daughter at a full gallop whining about how she couldn't stop her 
horse, but making no effort. The kid is a total brat. The mom kept being 
all sticky sweet with the kid say "now, calm down, dear" Maggie, my 
daughter, who is a heck of a rider for age 7 finally asked me if we could 
separate b/c they were racing with no regard to terrain. Their horses left 
us and we were fine the rest of the time.
