[RC] UAE Child Slavery - Howard BramhallI only ask that if this topic of AERC's relationship with the International Emirates Village will be discussed at Nov's AERC BOD meeting that everyone realizes that the "village" is a racing location in the UAE, not an entity unto itself without ties to other organizations. To put faces behind the "village" one must look at the UAE's Equestrian and Racing Federation's Board of Directors. Ziyad Abdullah Galadari Assistant Secretary General Then, please, compare that list with the following information received from the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International foundation in response to a letter written by Kimberly Fuess requesting the names of those in the UAE involved in the child camel jockey slave trade: "We would like to let you know that all the rulers and their children in UAE states are involved in this heinous crime against humanity/children The President of UAE and Abu Dhabiâ??s ruler, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his children, The Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoom, Deputy Ruler and Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad and their children and brothers as well as other rulers of UAE States including, Sharjah, Ajman, Rasal Khema, Fujera, Al Ain etc and their children and other family members have their own Camel Jockeys Camps and very much involve in murdering the humanity." I hope that the Board will take a very serious look at all of this information, especially the sentence "all the rulers and their children in UAE are involved in this heinous crime against humanity/children." To continue doing business as usual with this "Village" would not be in the best interests of the AERC membership. I really hope ya'll do the right thing here.
