I need to get some of this for my daughter's pony gelding. When we took him 
to the natrc ride 2 weeks ago, he refused to drink anything. He kept 
knocking over the bucket and acting offended at the water. I don't know if 
he was mad that Deli was with me or if he didn't like the strange water. It 
could have been either as he's shown me he's not the greatest traveler (why 
he's ultimately not going to be her competition horse) and doesn't take 
care of himself, and he grows his winter coat in August (ugh!) Anyway, 
after 36 hours of running his pen, having a cow b/c Deli was tied to the 
trailer, I finally put a scoop of orange electrolytes in the water and he 
sucked down two buckets in rapid succession (as long as the electrolytes 
were in it) He never drank well if I didn't add something to his water. 
Made me think of the kid who will only drink Kool Aid.
