[RC] gps heart monitors - Steve Elliot \(Equine Performance\)

the conversion can be done with the human Timx but the chest
transmitter doesn't work very well, I've tested all and found that most
electrodes are better further apart I've done transmitters in saddles
and pads the basic new horse Polar Electrode heart monitor works the
best always a constant reading, ive been using separate gps and heart
monitor strapped to the saddle.
Technology is changing and things are getting smaller we and Polar have
plans in 2005 for a built in gps, polar horse heart monitor and
temperature all in the electrode plus other features but trying to keep
it all in the watch. The mold process is very expensive and may never
cover the costs New research and training software is more the focus at
this time. I'll keep posted on all new products from the Original leader
in heart Monitors Polar Electro
