[RC] breathable pads (was White hairs, pressure points) - Jonni Jewell

Hummmm, you have any kind of research, or documentation on "most other pads"
to support that they don't breathe??? There are a LOT of pads out there on
the market, doing many things. Some it is just a sales line of bull $hit,
while others I am sure do as they claim. Then lets figure in the favorites
made of natural fibers that have been used for longer than most of us have
had horses, by folks who are in the saddle all day. Some working ranch
horses, others on the distance ride trail. If they did not breathe, then
most horses would not be able to tolerate the long hours.

Of course, my favorite is the ones who buy a synthetic saddle, made up
mostly of neoprene, then wonder why they get heat build up on the horses
back <sigh>
