A big thanks to the RM, Vets, volunteers, and fellow riders for
making my first LD ride a huge success. I was grinning the whole
time and couldn't believe I came in 12th. At the second vet
check the vet told me to let my 13.2 Arab/Welsh pony have some
fun and let her run (within reason of course). This came as a
big surprise because I was worried about over riding, racing,
and the whole newbie thing. 

Neverless, we both had a blast and I'm sure caused the finish
line crew/volunteers quite a laugh (I got somewhat lost at the
end in front of everyone). Oh well, now I now how to keep one
eye on the trail and the other one on those hard to find 
trail markers!!
