[RC] Back to Equipedic - Chris Paus

Well, I think I have the only endurance horse in the
world who hates his Equipedic pad. I shoulda known
better... Everytime I've used somethign other than his
Toklat woolback pad, he gets scurfy heat blisters, or
gets a sore back, or something goes wrong. He's 1050
pounds of "delicate"... LOL... You know how we are...
if something is good, surely we can find something
that is better....

I rode him in it for a couple of times on trail
training rides and it seemed fine. Took him to the
Indian Territory ride and he was a nutcase.. spooked
and shied at everything, generally acted obnoxious for
the first 17 miles. Vetted through fine... go figure.

Now he's got a lump on his back, and scurfy soreness
around it. Happens every time I use something other
than his wool fleece pad. I guess the lesson is, if
it ain't broken, don't fix it...

so, my nearly new Equipedic pad is for sale. It's
hunter green. It was used on two training rides and
one LD ride. It's been washed. Looks like new. I paid
$209 for it. Make me a fair offer. You know what they
cost new.
