Re: [RC] horse ivermectin for dogs?OT - Dolores Arste

Using the Liquid injectable stuff sold at farm stores for cows - Trade name
Ivomec.

Deliver by mouth.
For Dogs unless you dog has any Collie in it.
.1 cc per 10 lbs lower to the next lower tenth to round the number. This
will create a general worming dose as well as protect from heartworm

For Collie and Collie types use Ivermectin ONLY for heartworm protection.
And to use a a heartworm preventative only in other breeds Mix the
Ivermectin 1 part Ivomec to 9 parts Propylene Glycol (also available in farm
stores)

Then use the above dosage by mouth.
We;ve used in our kennel of up to 100 dogs for years.

Most of the dosages I know by heart. But, I didn't know about the Drocit
substitute. Thanks very much for that.

Dolores
