On second thought, my first response to this comment should have been
well, gee, I'm no more "biased" than those who were so determined to do
away with a perfectly good system and were clearly "biased" against
it--and who still stick by the new system despite its inherent problems,
its lack of participation, and its lack of popularity...  I'd submit that
an accusation of "bias" here could be aimed in either direction...
