Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] Tevis 2005/ sandy - Courtney Giardina

Sandy,

I don't doubt that adults know more than me. I don't think I'm superior to anyone! I respect many endurance rider's opinions, I love talking and riding with new people. I'ts nothing bad with the PEOPLE at all! It's only the fact that no one paces perfectly together. Thats it. Nothing more, nothing less. When you have someone who you have to ride with, get flustered because you have to get off your horse and adjust your tack, it adds stress on the ride. For me and the person I ride with. I'm not just thinking about myself, contrary to the popular belief. My attitude is not meant to be superior, I just feel strongly about an issue. Maybe I need to watch the way I word things to avoid this.

te statement below would make me wonder just why a junior feels that riding
with sponsors were "bad experiences". I have to think that with this kind of
attitude, perhaps she was not pleasure to sponsor either. In addition, it
would be some kind of miracle if my daughter, who likely has as many miles as I
do and probably more, simply has more experience than I, since she has had
fewer years to learn. COurtney, did you ever stop to think that a superior
attitude has a way of irritating people; did you ever think that perhaps the
adults in your life DO know more than you? Consider it.
