RE: [RC] [RC] Tevis 2005/ jamie - Libby & Quentin Llop DVMI sponsored a junior 1050+ of my first 1000 miles (I got pulled at the finish 2x) and I have a never heard of a sponsor zooming off and overstressing a Jr's horse. Isn't that what they mean by "ride your own ride", not to get sucked along with the fast crowd beyond your horses abilities? Sponsors and Juniors have plenty of leeway to plan their maximum ride. Last year we did what it took for Pete to finish first junior in every ride he entered. Of course, if he could have left us, sometimes he would have placed better overall, but so what.
