The first horse in my family---actually my sister's but when I found out 
about it, I demanded equal rights-- was a 14h Morgan Quarter cross and I 
used to ride her bareback all the time and mount her running from the 
rear--- lots of fun and I was crazy then. Never even occurred to me that 
she could kick me--- which she didn't :-)
