Provo is like that too. I don't know who taught him
to sidle up to mounting blocks (not me), but he'll
do it perfectly for an *off-side* mount. Try and persuade
him to line up on the other side, and you'll be standing
there a long time as he wriggles around and stands too
far away.

The result of this, is that I mount/dismount from the
off-side most of the time (and frequently have to stop
and think which side is the 'normal' side people mount
from).

Youngster Zini is not nearly as accommodating in terms
of her mounting-block-sidling abilities, so we will be
spending some time doing the exercise Nina describes
to encourage this important of skills ;-)
