[RC] KENLYN Arabians Endurance Ride/Race - DVeritas

I'd like to report that I rode the LD (25 mile) Endurance Ride yesterday down at Ken and Linda Fisher's KENLYN Arabians in Aurora (Denver), Colorado.

My, what a pleasant experience.  Linda, Ken, Brian (and his wife) and Denise Fisher were wonderful hosts.  They provided a BEAUTIFUL, crisp autumnal day, with absolutely flawlessly marked trails, pleasant and willing volunteers and vets.

Linda was everywhere helping everybody...and if she wasn't, she ensured there was a volunteer available to stand in her stead.

I normally don't ballyhoo 25 mile rides, but I truly enjoyed this experience and highly recommend it as a first ride for folks interested in riding endurance.  I was guiding an Arabian horse owner through his first endurance experience.  During the trot through the gold and red-leafed woods along the creek, he remarked to me, "THIS is why I have horses!"
  Absolutely.
  It was a cool experience.
Try it if you're in the area next May or October, I'm sure Linda will make it a very pleasant experience for you.
