Re: [RC] removing manure from paddocks serious business! - heidiI for one don't mind driving an hour or so to the nearest - NEAREST mall! HAHAHAHAHAHA! In my part of the country, having a mall only an hour away would be downright urban! <g> I drive 3+ hours over a major mountain pass to the nearest mall--well, actually, *I* don't very often, because part of the rural lifestyle is doing without the stuff you need to go to a mall to buy, for the most part (never mind I hate to shop, so living here is no deprivation in that regard), as well as doing without the usual variety of fast-food restaurants (or much of any sort of restaurants, for that matter. We have one grocery store, no all-night convenience stores, a couple of feed stores, a couple of clothing stores, and hey, what else do you need, anyway? (And I drive 20+ miles to get to THAT stuff!) Our only air service is an air taxi. We have one radio station. We have to battle elk and deer in the winter to try to keep hay for our horses. And so far, the neighbors moving in don't complain about the horses...
