Re: [RC] removing manure from paddocks serious business! - Truman

Look at the Toro Twister. The bed is a heavy duty plastic material - no scraping of pain or rusting of the bed. It has nice big wheels so no need for 4 wheel drive. I've driven mine through loose soil. I can haul four to five bales of hay in it. We've used it to haul away to a big compose pile the downed tree junk from two hurricanes - yes wood will decompose fairly rapidly in Florida.

It's bed is large - larger than most and if you want you can put an electric lift on it to dump the bed. We've had ours for three years and are really happy with it.

Katherine-

Check out the Polaris Ranger, they are now making a smaller version of the
original that may be perfect for your needs. The Ranger is like the
Kawasaki mule but has a much more user friendly dump mechanism and a bigger
dump bed. Unlike the mule however, the Polaris has a dump bed made out of
somekind of heavy duty composite material - like a truck bedliner - it is
tough, you just hose if off and it makes your dump load lighter. When I
looked at the mule I could barely work the dump when it was empty cause the
metal dump bed was to heavy. I know my kids love our Ranger, it has a bench
seat so you also have seat belts and a roll cage.....anyway, we have had
ours over a year and use it for just about everything. It does have a small
hitch attachment so you could pull something. Also, if you don't need the
four wheel drive the two wheel version is less expensive and I have yet to
get it stuck.
