Re: [RC] CA earthquake - Jon . Linderman

Oh please take me home! I'll galdy trade the tornados, ice, and lightning
of the Midwest for the comfort of earth quakes and forrest fires. Watching
my brick patio make waves during the Loma Prieta was better than any
hallucinagenic drug I could ever take! And how I miss hosing off the roof
during a those brush fires. I keep hoping people out here believe that CA
will fall into the ocean so that someday I can be back in the arms of that
gently rolling Golden State! Take me home country road (or highway 80), to
the place where I belong, california, rocking on.....................

Called folks in the Bay Area and they were fine so doesn't look like that
beach front property in Arizona is quite ready yet!

Here in Cambria it was a little bitty wobble. I still
ducked under my desk and quivered.

That earthquake's epicenter was pretty close to Paso
Robles, apparently
only 20 miles. Everyone OK around there? I sure am
glad I don't live in
earthquake country any more. I was pretty
traumatized by the Loma Prieta
quake. (This, from someone who lives a mile away
from a cinder cone -
dormant, mind you. Dormant, dormant, dormant.).
