We are still without. My son has been trying to get back to the ship
and finally got a flight out at 9:20 today out of Orlando instead of
Tampa. He started with Sunday at 9:20 then Monday. The flights were
cancelled on Monday because there were no planes at the airport
yet......Wow, I never thought of that. So now he leaves at 9:20 today.

Horses are perfect, my bed was completely soaked but hey, the couch is
comfy....... I am just happy I had something to come home to. I was
expecting the worse. No elec, stifiling hot, but I have all my camping
gear set up in the kitchen. No problem..... Hopefully we will get it
back on
soon. This one was worse for us. #3. Can't wait to start riding
again......

We only lost power for one day this time compared to a full week after

Frances. My theory is that all the trees that were gonna fall fell
during the previous two hurricanes, so, this time, there weren't many
trees left (at least along the power lines). Plus, at least Jeanne
had the decency
to
blow thru much faster than Frances, who lingered on and on and on
(kinda
how
I write) until you throw in the towel and say, "OK, God, take me now,
please, cause I just can't take any more of this."

Then, the minute after the hurricane winds end, you lose power, the
heat index kicks in over 100, and you find yourself driving over to
the 7/11 to fight to the death for that last bag of ice. The super
markets have no food, the gas stations no gas, but, heck, even if the
beer is warm, at
least
they don't seem to run out of that. Warm beer with no AC living in
the Swamp from Hell; doesn't get much better.

Tennessee, she's calling me, my Tennessee.

cya,
Howard (we're done, right? I mean that's the last one, doncha think?)

Hi Becky. I hope everything went well. We only lost power for 2 days
this
time and no structural damage. I saw one of the news reporters in
Clermont.
It looked pretty bad. Let us know how you are when you get a
chance.

Take Care,
Jackie

Hey All,
Please say a prayer for us-
This time, we are in the direct path of hurricane Jeanne... We may
experience between 85-90 mph sustained winds at our place. Worst part
is
we
live in a 15 year old mobile home (that is in in pretty good shape and

well-built). Best part is that both my husband and I have to go to
work tonight at
Disney
on our respective ride-out crews again, so we should be safe. Always
exciting to take care of and feed 81 head of horses in wind like that!

Wish us luck...
Becky in Clermont
