I understand that Mojave Rattlesnakes are particularly aggressive. <<

I'd heard that, too, for years and never believed it until
that snake at the end of the 50.  That sucker was pissed off
and determined that it was HIS (her?) trail and we were not going to
go past him (her).  Very very different from any other snake encounter
I've ever had (except baby gopher snakes who do their best to
bluff you into thinking they're going to eat you).  Yes, it was
a mojave green.
