[RC] rattlesnakes - Elin Pendleton

Just killed my second one this summer, and this was a scary one. Tonight, feeding at dusk I see it coming out of a hole near a fence post between the two horse feeders. This is a baby rattler, which cannot rattle (yet, won't until it's first shed makes a new rattle, so there can be a buzz), and a baby rattler means there are at least 10 more somewhere in the vicinity. Rattlesnakes are live bearers, and the "litters" can be up to 18...I think..
Horses are OK, but I'm now on high alert...
