[RC] Reading List - Nancy Sturm
What's up with the Arabs? Ever ride one? After 40 years of with my former favorite thoroughbred and thoroughbred/QH crosses, I bought my first Arab in May so that I could try endurance while I could still walk to the barn.
This is the most intelligent most teachable horse I have ever worked with. He's an equine ATV and so personable I'm amazed. I'm not sure I've ever had a pastured horse throw up his head, nicker and trot toward me, leaving his friends and his food.
So - how did he get like this? What are your favorite books on Arabs as a breed (not particularly interested in showring stuff) and endurance as a sport?
