[RC] colic and bermuda - kc85124

I had a horse that would sometimes colic after a ride and I was feeding bermuda
hay but the biggest problem with him was he didn't want to eat bermuda at rides
so wasn't getting enough to eat. When I took him to a certain ride he would
colic around 10:00 the night after the ride, just a light colic and never had
to be treated. This happed both times he did the ride. Once we ran in front,
slow pace though, and he got bc. The other time we were going slow and again
it happened. I blamed the clover at the campsite that he wanted to eat
constantly. He had clover in his pasture at home though. I would not take him
to that ride again. My other horses had no problem with that ride. I can only
get bermuda hay in my area if I want good quality hay. Happy Trails, Kathy
