I was there. We had a very pleasant ride. They had 5 to 7 inches of rain so
the trail was some woods but mostly gravel roads as in the spring ride. The
gravel roads had been graded so not much of a "path" to follow leaving many
foot sore horses. On Sunday they routed us on more trail, it was drying out
fairly quickly. I thought the time was fair on Sunday 4:45 to 5:15 I had time
to walk the last mile or so which was good. I believe for the Nationals much
will depend on the weather, if we have wet weather there will again be gravel
roads, if it is dryer you will have more trail but also more hills. I say
prepare for both.

Tess & Jammer (I hate gravel)
