[RC] heating a small space - Alice Yovich

I think that dachshunds also put out lots of body heat. I went to a ride where it was 24 degrees at night. I slept in my cot tent in my sleeping back, but my backside was really cold, even though my top was warm. In my arsenal I had my wire haired dachshund with me. He's the king of all heaters. I also do own a JRT (but didn't at the time) and I can see where he would be a great source of warmth, but the dachshund is a better snuggler.

If that doesn't work out bring along a Jack Russell Terrier....they put out
more body heat per square inch than any other animal known to mankind.

Warning note: If you put more than one JRT in your sleeping bag, make sure
they get along well and that one of them isn't really jealous about his human.
Been there done that, couldn't get the dang bag unzipped fast enough =:O
